EDP |
Extended Day Program. The Manhattan Beach Extended Day Program provides care before and/or after school at Robinson. Families are encouraged to sign-up early for EDP. Please inquire in the office about availability. |
Enrichment Classes |
Sponsored by MBX, Robinson students (K-5) can supplement and enrich their current educational experiences with a variety of fun classes, held after school, including Chess, Spanish, Science, Art, and more! For information, visit: www.mbxfoundation.org. |

Family Buddy Program |
New families at Robinson are paired with experienced families who can answer questions and help navigate the first year at our school. |
Fowler Field |
Robinson Elementary School’s grass field that is used during P.E., lunch and recess. The field was named after Mr. John Fowler, a beloved past P.E. teacher who mentored our students on character building. |
GG |
Growing Great. Trained parent docents provide fun and interactive nutrition lessons to teach children (Grades 3-5) how and why to make healthy food choices. |
MBEF |
Manhattan Beach Education Foundation. MBEF is a nonprofit organization that raises money to improve and enhance education for all students, grades K-12, in Manhattan Beach public schools. |
Room Parent |
A parent who acts as a liaison for communication between the teacher and other parents in the class. Room Parents are also responsible for organizing class parties, class gifts, and other events held throughout the year. |
Parent Party |
This annual event is Robinson’s largest fundraiser. The adult-only party is a magical night under the stars with dinner, dancing, and most of all, a way to give back to the Robinson community. During the Parent Party, you will have an opportunity to bid on silent and live auction items, as well as Party Book events. |
Party Book |
Smaller fundraising parties, for children and adults, held throughout the year. Spots are available for registered Parent Party guests to purchase via mobile bidding auction software. |
PTSA |
Parent Teacher Student Association. The PTSA helps fund site-specific needs at Robinson and sustains the basic operation of the school, cultural arts experiences, and academic enhancements. |
Spirit Assemblies |
Morning assemblies that bring together the entire school and encourage Robinson students to be Champions of Character. Parents are welcome to attend. |
Spirit Wear |
